FACTS ABOUT THE BIBLE
Fact. The Bible is the Word of God. It has been proven to be true by many that have spent years researching it–ref 2 Pe 1:21; 2 Tim 3:16,17; 2 Sam 23:2. Many have also spent years trying to disprove it. All failed. Every prophecy (thousands) have come true up to this time with no exceptions. The fool hath said in his heart there is no God–Ps 14:1.
Fact. The Bible clearly teaches that it can be correctly understood by only a few, those that humble themselves as babes before God. The Bible will not be correctly understood by most, because of blindness and hardness in their heart.
Fact. The Bible clearly teaches that many are positive that they understand the Bible but their understanding is actually darkness, blindness, and deceit. It is beyond their understanding that the devil can blind their minds–2 Cor 4:4. It is beyond their understanding that many ministers, preachers, priests and rabbi are really following Satan–2 Cor 11:15.
Fact. The Bible clearly teaches that MANY are positive they will go to heaven, but only a FEW enter the narrow way and strait gate and are called, chosen, and faithful.
Fact. The keys to understanding where a person is in Christ are as follows: their fruits, their love for God, the brethren, and God's Word; also their desire for God's Word, their obedience to the Bible, and their softness towards Biblical correction followed by repentance. Just being a nice person does not indicate a person will go to heaven.
Fact. The Bible is absolutely clear that to be saved, a person MUST trust in the Jesus Christ of the Bible, Who is come in the flesh. They MUST repent of their sins. Only AFTER believing and repenting, is a person commanded to be baptized by full immersion. Then they NEED to hear or read the Bible, and as they understand, they are to obey God's Word. Then they will be tested and tried in all sorts of ways to see if their faith is geniune. Those that stand firm in the faith shall forever be with the Lord. This is clear in God's Word, yet many in this lukewarm Bible generation deviate from this teaching.
Fact. We are in the last church age before Jesus will translate those that are His. Rev 3:14–22–This is the Laodicean church age of which it is written–it is neither cold or hot, but lukewarm. It does not know or understand that its true condition in God’s eyes is wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.
God’s advice to this naked, blind church age, in which Jesus is outside knocking on the door, is several things including REPENT. Most of today’s church is not ready for Jesus to take them. Many will not serve God because of fear. God calls them wicked, lazy, unprofitable, and asleep–Mt 7:22,23; 25:10–14, 24–30; 25:5. When it comes to studying God’s Word at length, it seems they are full of excuses.
When Jesus was asked what shall be the sign of thy coming, three times Jesus (first) warned of religious deception. He said–Mt 24:4–Take heed that no man deceive you (also ref Mk 13:5; Lk 21:8). Today’s church is indeed a church of deception that teaches what a person wants to hear, rather than what they need to hear—and the people that attend them are not aware. Mingled in with today’s lukewarm church are just a few from the Philadelphia, Sardis, and Thyatira churches. Only those from these 3 churches that have repented will be raptured. (Note this should be of use for prophecy scholars.) If you are reading this and can understand it and will repent, you are blessed; for few can understand God's Word correctly in these latter days.
Fact. The latter days of the last days began with Israel’s rebirth, which happened May 14, 1948.
Fact. A generation would not pass away from that event to the Rapture, Tribulation, Armageddon, and the gathering of the elect. We are near the end of that generation right now. The Bible clearly states very few will be ready and be taken.
If you are “In Christ” you are commanded in app. 6 verses to know and understand, watch and be ready for His soon return. Those not watching will not understand when He will return, and they will be left behind–1 Thes 5:4; Rev 3:3 Woe to those churches that have not alerted their flocks with the signs of the times, so they might watch and be ready as the Bible commands. It is written, Heb 9:28–…UNTO THEM THAT LOOK FOR HIM SHALL HE APPEAR THE SECOND TIME WITHOUT SIN UNTO SALVATION. Very few are looking for or expecting His return to translate His people, because today’s blind and wretched, lukewarm, Christian church does not expect the Rapture is on the doorstep. To those that may laugh or mock at this, be warned—you will soon be crying and wishing you had not turned your back on Christ.
